Silver remains under selling pressure in today’s trading, with spot prices down around 0.8% to trade near $63.60 an ounce after hitting an intraday low around $63.32, extending losses following a decline of more than 3% in the previous session. The weakness comes amid a stronger U.S. dollar and higher Treasury yields, alongside rising oil prices and growing concerns that inflation may remain elevated, which has strengthened expectations that the Federal Reserve could raise interest rates again and continues to weigh on non-yielding metals.
