Silver trades above the $66 support area, and if prices remain above this level, a rebound toward the $71 resistance area is likely, while this scenario would be invalidated by a break below the aforementioned support in today’s trading.

Silver extended its gains during today’s trading to hover near $67.5 an ounce, supported by a weaker dollar and continued demand for precious metals amid escalating geopolitical tensions, after posting gains of more than 2% in the previous session. Despite the positive momentum, rising U.S. Treasury yields and oil prices above $100 are bringing inflation concerns and tighter monetary policy back into focus, which could limit the pace of further gains.
